i really enjoyed that movie, its nihilistic, minimalistic and angsty approach make "helpless" really special. it is neither vivid nor expressive and these pecularities make it flamboyant and, paradoxically, very emotional in its own way. Aoyama's first work as a film director has a lot (i mean A LOT) of similarities with Ishii and early Kitano works, but has its own identity. Excited to see the other two films from the trilogy.
