  The film that taught to understand movies on a higher level. Not everything meets the eye, the social norms are pushed and the boundaries are broken. The classical music to show Chiron's inner self and Juan "brings the arthouse to the hood". The unexpectedness and tension is built throughout the film with such grace, till the end. This movie changed how I thought stories could be told. The ability to explain a story in a new way.
