There is a lot of stupid shit that happens in this movie. It’s a boring, sleepy, mess of random scenarios that happen until it ends. Historically Star Wars has been filled with dumb shit, but nothing beats the final battle of this movie.
The most eye rolling, forced, stupid scene is when the resistance deploys troop transports which land on the deck of the Star Destroyers to deploy… space horse soldiers.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 1998
Entertaining and endlessly rewatchable. I’ve probably seen this about 9-10 times over the past 6 years and it never gets old. On one side, it’s a hilarious and epic drug trip movie and on the other it’s a somewhat poignant takedown and dissection of the American dream and hippy culture of the 60-70’s. Lots of plot details are hidden in background convos, and there is a plot/point to this film. Amazing cast performances.
