Seeps 2009 like a fucking wet sponge, but it’s endearing. Definitely a 1st year film student’s wet dream of a film in terms of basic composition, writing and character arcs, but nonetheless i still found myself enjoying it to an extent. Afraid of revealing too much in case it’s spoon-feeding, some information that is left out changes the story, but filling in the blanks with your own personal ideas can make this film slightly different between each viewer depending on your angle / if you actually think Tom is in the right here (he isn’t lol)
“My name’s Autumn”
*groan*
A strange budget horror that reinvigorated the idea of how films can be made - because the bar is kinda low here. With a substantially lacking story and typical characters, it’s a film you watch for fun that you just turn your brain off and enjoy the quips, and i love that about it.
As iconic as i expected it to be. The acting wasn’t terribly distracting and the campiness of an original slasher shines through in this film. Paved the way for predictable and cliche stereotypes, because everything plays off this film
