  so beautiful 😭😭 maybe not the most perfect movie ever but it’s definitely a faithful adaptation to the original one-shot by fujimoto. i enjoyed how, despite remaining close to the manga, it still took creative liberties with the animation—it wasn’t a one by one adaptation, the creators deliberately took their own measures to add to the original work instead of copying it in which i think they did a great job of!!

   i was little disappointed about the skipping scene…

  such a weirdly creative movie i don’t know how they made it even MORE creative and even MORE weirder than the original anime. really confusing at first but i kinda like it. wish they kissed at the end though #yurijesus

  JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!!!! has all the aspects of an amazing movie; lesbian sex, men dying, and great acting. phenomenal formatting of the movie, if i had one problem with it, it’d be that i didn’t really like some of the music or how slow it was but when it picks up, it reallyyyy picks up—kept me on the edge the whole time. plus i enjoyed some of the symbolism too. also bit of a long watch but sooo worth it and it had me malding and losing my mind lololol so good.
