a very solid special, bill burr is unapologetically himself in this and that’s always been his charm. he says the quiet part out loud and him raging (while sometimes a little overdone) is quite funny. surprisingly quite introspective as well and tackled delicate topics unabashedly as he always does. do wish the crowd was a little better though
malayalam movies rarely disappoint and this is no different, well crafted and compelling, it keeps you engaged till the end. some parts of this do feel a little off though, mostly the bad guys and a couple of the side characters acting a little illogically but nothing that puts you off this movie in my opinion.
before andrew schulz got involved with politics, his crowd work clips were actually quite funny and this felt like a return to those times. a non political and surprisingly quite touching reflection on the struggles of trying to give birth, it was quite a decent watch. the trans jokes (and slurs) were unnecessary but i guess that’s what comedy’s become these days, saying whatever you want in the name of comedy. oh well, the rest of it was pretty funny and the montage was pretty sweet.
if i were stuck in an endless time loop with andy samberg, cristin milioti and jk simmons, i don't think i'd want to leave either.
