2001: A Space Odyssey 1968
This was my first serious cinematic experience. When i was 15 i wanted to explore art and cinema. so I started watching movies based on their directors. One of the first directors I've been recommended to was Kubrick. And this, this motherfuckin basterd hell of a movie was the first time i truly felt the magic that can be brought by cinema. this movie is the core of love for cinema for me. This is the beginning of everything. What happens to David Bowman in the movie is what happened to me the first time i watched this. I evolved into a cinephile.
