As sad as it sounds, I actually appreciate how Charlie’s death was handled in the end. Many films focus on trying to save the main character, but in this film, while people did try to help Charlie, it ultimately doesn’t change anything. His goal remains unchanged despite the strong support around him, which I thought offered a unique perspective.
