Juror #2 2024
One of the most basic principles of story telling is "Show, Don't Tell". This movie misses that mark a lot. This movie often explicitly states its themes and the motivations of its characters, your audience isn't stupid, we can read between the lines!

Interesting concept, lackluster execution.
A film riddled with cliches and unnatural dialogue. If you look past the "saved by the bells" moments and some characters being stupid, it's an OK movie.
The terrible acting by the Lady Raven actor also does not do this movie any favors, took me out at times. For such a pivotal character they surely could have found a better actor, it's as if she can only show 2 emotions. The dialogue of her trying to trigger Cooper's mommy issues in the car, holy shit I have never heard worse dialogue.
Seeing Kid Cudi and Russ was funny I guess.
