    Past Lives

    ★★★★½

I really loved how this film combined the the longing for a distant home / immigration themes with the nostalgia of a childhood love.. Hae Sung feels almost stuck yearning in a singular moment, whilst feeling like his life is ordinary and he didn't become enough, whilst Nora (literally changing her name) moved forward and embraced a new life, with a kind of acceptance to how life is now. To Hae Sung she probably looks extraordinary in comparison - maybe…

    A Complete Unknown

    ★★★½

A Complete Unknown felt like a long collection of music videos at times… but I liked the music, loved the acting and enjoyed the what-felt-like snippet of Bob Dylan’s life that it showed… it was alright, I knew Timothée Chalamet was born to act but maybe he was born to sing too!

    ★★★★½

    John Wick: Chapter 4

    ★★★★½

#JohnWick4 might be one of the best action films ever made, the more I think about each individual setpiece, the more I realise how crazy it is this film exists.

Osaka, Berlin, Paris each of these parts could top off the end of a great film yet theyre all perfectly worked here.

there’s actually too much to say about this one, the hype should be believed. If you want pure non-stop action, it really really hits. I don’t see how…
