  Arlene is not familiar with the book but she imagines the fictional drug name Dylar might evoke the brand name Mylar, a substance used for protective coating. “Here, perhaps, as protection from the fear of death.” 

  The name can relate to dying, she said, because of the syllable “dy,” but it is basically a “flat name because there is nothing else in it.”

  Same could be said of this adaption. Good syllables, nice hairdos, but left me wanting.
