  bullshit. almost a whole hour of pure suffering, and then when the revenge finally kicks in, it’s lame as hell. but what really got me was the protagonist of a revenge flick just sitting there like a vip guest, watching the actual revenge go down only for it to be some lesson about not being an asshole? lol. fuck this

  does the final third feel kind of whatever and make the experience a bit frustrating? yes. but is it also one of the funniest films i’ve ever seen? also yes. it had me cackling in tears like three times lmao

  i love Sean Baker and this was one of my most anticipated films of the year, but it just didn’t do it for me.

  c’mon, Ani is barely the main character, the humor doesn’t land, and it drags so much halfway through.

  it's somewhat entertaining, but that's about it. which sucks :/
