Seen at the Bertha Dochouse with Alannah and Palak,

Came into this fully blind, not even knowing who Ernest Cole was. Left feeling in awe of his work and moved by his life story. At a certain point in the movie I got a bit sleepy but that's probably just because I've had a long week, work's been busy, trying to juggle a bunch of things etc.

Seen with my sister in the Haymarket Odeon

I missed the second half of the film because my eyes were too watery.

No Other Land explores the demolition of Palestinian villages in the West Bank from a chillingly close perspective. The camera zooms right into the faces of the Israeli troops as they usher children out of a primary school and bring in the large Caterpillar bulldozers to raze it to the ground.

The documentary features some of the most senseless destruction captured on screen in meticulous detail and high definition - seeing the troops wreak everything from power generators to wells…

    Seen with Wil

The blond guy (Vaughn) will probably have some trauma from this little holiday. I personally feel he shouldn't have done what he did at the end - sure the northern irish guy (Marcus) did have his flaws - he was a 'lad' with a nasty coke habbit and didn't always make the best decisions but in his defence he was resourceful, had a positive problem solving attitude and good mental resilience. It's sad to see him go so young and pay the price for Vaughn's mistakes.
