anyway I enjoyed this movie but it didn't wow me the same way some of Mr. Egger's other films did like The Witch. I do appreciate that it was played completely straight as a disturbing and uncomfortable vampire film. I'm getting pretty bored of vampires being sympathetic or sexy. (I'm a certified vampire hater)
upon further introspection and reading some people's response to this film i'm convinced a lot of people watched a completely different movie than i did
