Poor Things 2023
The sets and costumes are so beautiful and the production is amazing, aswell as the acting itself. The soundtrack is so well done too. I did enjoy it and it's an entertaining watch but how on earth can people think of this as a feminist story!?!?!? It's a very good and somewhat disturbing film about the exploitation of Bella, not about female empowerment. Will probably rewatch after I read the book...

Had a very strong start and middle, the camera work was incredible throughout and the aesthetics were amazing. Strong SOTL and twin peaks vibes in the settings !!!!! I loved the the uncanniness of Longlegs himself so much, how uncomfortable it was to look at his character.
I felt the ending, especially the 3rd act, fell slightly flat though. I didn't like how the entire mystery was just explained to you at the end, i wish they'd left it at…
