  Oh man, long time no see. I've been pretty lazy lately when it comes to reviewing stuff. Anyways Mondo knocked this sucker out of the park.
  I really didn't know what to expect going into this since I didn't really look into it and only got 3 deep into the Arrow set but Tetsuo burned some kind of everlasting fascination with Tsukamoto's style that unearthed itself last year after a good 10 year hibernation.

  Titane 2021

  Talk about revving up my anxiety and making my skin crawl. Probably the most unquie movie I'll see in theaters this year. One of the biggest praises of Titane is how it manages to get under your skin without tons of showstopper set pieces or top tier effects work (although at least one holds no bars moment would have probably bumped it up a star). Instead it relies on imagery, mood, and dissociated narrative structure.

  What the hell was that and why did it take me this long to see? I don't think I've ever shouted What?! that many times in one sitting during a movie. Definitely a new favorite and highly recommend if concepts like garter snake eggs in a cobb salad and a child's imagination manifesting a small rodeo clown appeal to you.
