Where the wild things are is a film about Max's introspective journey into the wild world of his emotions. Each character perfectly represents every part of the protagonist's personality and his difficulties in managing to control his feelings, first by pretending to be ‘king’ of them.
Nothing succeeds better than this film in depicting the hidden problems of each of us, which we carry with us from childhood.
