Ant-Man Episode IX: The Rise of Greenscreen
If "I'll explain everything but not right now" was a movie. Disappointing to realise Kang and Jonathan Majors was the only notably good part in this movie. Paul Rudds' existential dread at the end was also unexpectedly interesting. The plot, acting, visuals, comedic timing and action all left me disappointed.
Kang, in fact, did not return.
Save the $20 and go buy yourself a cleanser and moisturiser.
Was 100% onboard with the commentary on beauty standards, self worth, selfishness, use of substances and taking things for granted, it was on track for a 4 star review tbh... But then it just takes an absolute nosedive and devolves into a beat you over the head, one dimensional, body horror with no regard for any sort of resemblance of a good movie. 2 hour movie that felt like 5 hours
James Bond. Jack Bauer. Jason Bourne.
To me one of the iconic secret agent characters and sets of movies. Just a guy with a specific set of skills trying to figure out who he is. It is refreshing seeing characters making smart decisions. Extreme Ways by Moby is iconic and nostalgic.
