  I don’t remember when was the last time I saw a stinker of a movie like this. Eggers didn’t bother to do anything innovational with the story, he basically just made a copy and paste of Herzog’s version but with a worse „touch”. He only used count Orlok to be a tool in a plot, and nothing much else. The character of count Orlok if it even was a character, bumbling and grumbling presence, a presence of a nonpresence charactersied…
