    I am now the proud owner of Challengers on bluray. 

    Which means when the inevitable revolution comes, and American democracy and its capitalist system fall and Amazon crumbles rendering their catalog of films unavailable to stream I will still be able to watch the greatest love triangle ever put to screen.

    Very sharp and a lot of fun. I do wish it gave us a bit more to chew on, be it thematically, with a bit of action or through the main couple and their relationship. I don’t think the lack of those make this bad by any means, or do I think it was the wrong decision to withhold all of that, but I think I would have enjoyed it more/it would’ve been more up my alley with just a tad of any of those.

    “I just want to be a good kid.”

    There’s something so heartbreaking about movies that deal with childhood innocence like this. Kids will always want to just be kids, it’s hard that so often the world takes that from them. 

    It may have some subpar acting and leave a little to be desired script wise, but this movie has a lot of heart and the child actor is great, especially his chemistry with Boon.

    It’s like someone was listening to me talk about my favorite things (when Robert Pattinson does funny voices and anti capitalist art) and combined it into one movie!

    But on a more serious note, I usually hate the one actor playing two characters gimmick but what Pattinson does here (with the aid of Bong Joon Ho’s brilliant direction) made it an effortless watch.
