Pocketful of Miracles 1961
I watched this despite the warning of Karina Longworth. In the outtakes from her podcast episode on Frank Capra she did say 'watch it if you dare'. I dared because of the cast and because it was on Tubi.
I enjoyed the beginning where we are introduced to Bette Davis' Apple Annie. A street-wise street person. Boss-lady of the bums. But when Glenn Ford show up even Peter Falk can't save the movie. The picture is just not funny.

Pancho Villa 1972
Sorry Quentin and Roger - but this film? was not enjoyable.
I gave it two tries - the first on Youtube where I thought the look of it reminded me of The Wild Wild West - but Pancho Villa lacked any of the elements I enjoyed from that series.
The second on Tubi where I expected I would be able to try to figure out what was supposed to be happening but alas I did not care.

I didn’t hate it. I actually preferred the supporting actress, Claire Trevor, to the star Rosalind Russel. I like Rosalind but she had no surprises for me here.
