Weak character development. Predictable scenes. Messaging around the impacts of war changing people was interesting, however I feel this message has been put across better by other directors or films :/

Who knew tennis could be so compelling! This story is told so well, with a litany of twists and turns. Initially I wasn’t convinced by Zendaya’s role but as the film progressed I began to understand her character more, and more importantly believe the character she was playing! The slow motion scenes at the end were a bit excessive and nearly bought the ranking down to 1 star, but looking past my poor attention span, I would recommend watching!
