  “how is she there… in the fog?” 

  One of the best, and most stylistically unique animations I’ve ever seen. It’s nightmarish and macabre but it’s also such a cute and surreal fairy-tale. I love everything about this film.

  Scorsese is still dropping incredible films. William, Mollie, and especially Ernest, are such interesting and complex characters. It’s so gripping. It’s an uncompromising film that’s so delicate and passionate, not only through the story being told but the visuals as well. The cinematography is done so well, there’s a number of shots that are really ingrained in my mind. This is definitely one of Scorsese’s best, and most daring projects.
