  This film says a lot in a short amount of time. Images and individuals speak for themselves, locations are used less for their specificity and more to show how widespread the homeless crisis is. It also doesn’t feel pushy or inauthentic. I never felt like this film was trying too hard to get me to think or feel a certain way.  It just shows us real people doing what they can, trying to get through the day, find work, find food, and stay safe enough to see another day.

  Well. I’m crying. I like the message far more than I like the movie itself, but with all the direct Snow White references and the adorable Star, it was a cute ride.
