The Electric State, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is a visually arresting yet narratively uneven adaptation of Simon Stålenhag’s acclaimed graphic novel. Featuring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, the movie crafts an atmospheric journey through a retro-futuristic wasteland filled with melancholic beauty, but it doesn’t always strike the emotional chords it aims for.
At its heart, The Electric State is a road movie wrapped in a dystopian sci-fi shell. Brown plays Michelle, an orphaned teenager traveling with a…
Presence, directed by Steven Soderbergh, is an eerie, atmospheric take on the haunted house genre, blending psychological tension with his signature experimental style.
The movie follows a family unsettled by strange occurrences in their new suburban home. Soderbergh builds suspense through restrained camerawork and an unnerving sound design, relying more on mood than outright scares. The performances, are solid, though the characters sometimes feel underdeveloped.
The screenplay flirts with deeper psychological themes but doesn’t fully commit, leaving certain emotional beats…
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings into the hearts of audiences with a web-slinging adventure that surpasses expectations. This highly anticipated sequel to the groundbreaking Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse continues to redefine the superhero genre, delivering a visually stunning and emotionally resonant experience.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is a very solid movie.
After the disappointment of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, this third movie brought me really back to the magical world J.K. Rowling created. The movie was honestly well made and I'm not sure why it's receiving a fair deal of criticism. Credits to Mads Mikkelsen, he was way better than Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. Jude Law, is also very convincing as young Albus Dumbledore.
Ignore the critics, give this movie a chance. You’ll enjoy it!
