Like nothing happened until the last 5 minutes.
The world building wasn’t there. The colours were ghastly (the sepia filter over green and pink was horrendous). While impressive they built the sets instead of CGI… the environments looked weirdly unused (no wear on the floors and walls) which took me outta the world. Ariana’s lines were hitting for sure. But the other characters? What were their motivations?! Pretty wild how much money can go into something for a very strange and flat end result. Wow I am on one! Haha. Still enjoyed the ridiculousness of this project.

Ok this cast is STACKED. Michelle Pfeiffer as cat lady turned vixen Cat Woman. Onesie wearing Danny DiVito in the most terrifying eye makeup of all time. Christopher Walken as an evil drag mother I live.
The plot is kinda lost slash repetitive but I’m staying for the high camp and Batman loading a CD in the Batmobile. Slay.
PS I tried to watch this movie when I was like 6 and only made it about 7 minutes in cause I was so scared of the penguin.
