Where to begin with this masterpiece. Scorsese cooking with gas in this mafioso period epic. It looks so cool, the fashion and overall aesthetic reflecting different eras of Americana.
Liota is twisted and contorted into Henry Hill in every sense, embodying the transition from good young man to narco ultra. His performance is flawless playing a fiery antihero.

My favourite film. Ferdia is the image of every 80s protagonist and the music matches. Individual performances to credit are of course Ferdia and Lucy but special shout out to the fella playing the priest, seriously scary looking fucker. Aidan Gillen is also class but he always is. Good film in fairness like. 1st act and 3rd act were really long. Pattinson is class obviously, Ruffalo excels as the pantomime Trump-esque villain, shots are really cool (Star Wars hoth shit). The 2ndary female character was a bit stiff and the creatures didn’t have enough personality (I wasn’t sold). Overall solid and will probably do well critically, bit of a satirical ode to previous sci-fi. Worth watching for Pattinsons dynamism alone, resplendent with emotion.
