A Complete Unknown 2024
I didn’t want to like Timmy but he got me after 15 mins. A biopic that’s ostensibly about the music scene more than Bob. Norton was excellent as Seeger, and I’m in love with Joan Baez now.
Of course there are artistic liberties taken, but the narrative is so captivating without being hyperbolic that it doesn’t matter. While it does track some typical musician biopic tropes (“wow, HE wrote THAT!”), the movie rises above because 1/ Dylan is notoriously evasive…
