This film is, as the name suggests, painful but is a nice watch. The sound is enjoyable and emotive from start to finish and the supporting cast are quite likeable. It is shot beautifully; especially the longer shots during scene transitions. Both the boys act well but play the same roles they always play. Good film

Requiem for a Dream 2000
Would not recommend watching this on a Thursday morning as it is very intense. Probably a film students wet dream but in reality it is a jarring film which is carried by good acting performances and a solid score. I particularly enjoyed the foley. Also did not realise it was Jared Leto for a good hour. He used to be cool and hot.
