  very compelling movie but i just cannot take that music seriously after hearing it everywhere 10 years ago

  oddly the most compelling story in this film about drug addiction is probably sara's portion. its a perfect distillation of the junk content(in this case diet/self improvement scams) fed to americans(especially the elderly) through the media designed to prey on their insecurities until they consume themselves.

  i don't know what to believe honestly. i was convinced to rate this 5 stars when i just thought it was a trippy psychological drama but the turn it takes at the end puts an entirely new context onto it. genuinely one of the greatest film experiences you can have going in blind (unless/especially if you're scared of tom cruise)

  more like from the freaky dimension considering how freaky things got

  incredible practical effects and the cast give this some good work, it gets a little messy at the end and the freakiness is a little weird but overall i think its good
