  my first watch out of three for “thinking queerly: intro to queer studies” with prof. connell.

  watching this at 1am in complete darkness was a formative experience that i don't think will ever quite leave my brain. it was a beautifully made film with excellent use of color, references, and cinematography. the color story really got me especially the use of blue and red to juxtapose owen's gender identity. getting to discuss it from an academic and gueer theory standpoint…
