Coleman Domingo is extraordinary in this film. The story about the significance of a theater group in prison is full of emotion. Not surprising to me. As a thespian and someone who actually taught theatre to juveniles living in detention, I understand the power theatre has. But this story, these actors deserve a standing ovation for their skill at telling so many different and difficult stories in less than two hours. Powerful. This film will stay with me a while.

I would give this 3.5 stars if possible. The film is predictable but the two lead actors make it worth watching. They are excellent. Believable. Romantic, serious, funny, sad. All the things for a decent date night movie at home.
