  Robert Pattinson is amazing as Mickey but the films is unfortunately a letdown for me.

  I get what Bong was going for as much as I understand why people love this but I just couldn’t with all its desperate and (mostly) failed attempts at being really funny and the extremely unsubtle satire.

  Rachel Zegler is great as Snow White, Gal Gadot is terrible and as flat and one dimensional as her character’s name; ”The Evil Queen”. It’s not visually appealing like the animated original but it isn’t ugly (with a few exceptions) and despite all the controversy I think the dwarves worked out pretty good to be honest.

  A film that through Jake Gyllenhaal’s fantastic performance explores the human mind and many of our flaws, with abstract symbols and a great ambiguous ending that leaves the film open to interpretation. Denis Villeneuve creates a very desolate and almost apocalyptic tone with his excellent directing, yellow color palette and as usual; really good cinematography.
