Another reasonably fun western. Similarly to Butch Cassidy, I feel like it kinda drags somewhere around the middle and there’s about 20-30 min or so around the middle portion that I honestly think could’ve been just cut entirely, but aside from that, I had a good time. I ultimately prefer this to Butch Cassidy because I think it has more fleshed out characters and a more overall resonant story. The ending was a little unfortunate for most involved, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t what I expected lol. Gotta say, for an older film, had significantly more action and violence than I expected.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 1969
Not as good as The Sting imo, but still solid. Love me some more Redford & Neuman interplay and the ending, no spoilers, was both tragic, but also badass as hell. I did feel like the film kinda dragged around the start of the 3rd act leading up to the final confrontation and some of the music choices were rather bizarre to the point of breaking immersion, but other than that, a reasonably fun classic western flick. Just not one I see myself returning to any time soon.
