Don’t go in asking why there would be a civil war today, go in wondering what it would look like if a civil war broke out today.
As much as I love Alex Garland as a filmmaker, the marketing on this made it look pretty… not great. I am happy to report that I thought it was pretty good! Super gripping, amazing visuals, incredible acting; Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeny and Stephen McKinley Henderson all give great performances.
