Is it possible to enjoy a film that you didn’t like?
There were things I really loved about this but also stuff that was really annoying (like why didn’t the liquid in the glasses move during the sea turbulence scene (is it sea turbulence or irregular ocean motion? I forget)).
The 90 minutes of exposition was also annoying/boring. Half the characters we get introduced to don’t even make the third act or add anything significant to the plot at all. …

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters 2007
This is so fuckin good.
Obviously it’s well known that a lot of documentaries are edited in a way to make the story more interesting but even if this is the case with King Of Kong, it doesn’t change the fact that some of people in this documentary are some of the maddest characters in the world.
Even if I was told this whole doc was fake and scripted it’s still so unbelievably entertaining.
