This is such a troubling movie. These characters are not evil, they aren't saints either. Just trying to lead a normal life of dignity which is stripped by the Global North's obsession with power. Destroy a nation, tear it apart with war to fund your corporates and then, close down borders for their refugees. All this in the name of development. This film is REAL.
