  “there is still time.”

  i think i would’ve unquestioningly loved this when i was 13 and that speaks for its messaging. there’s a lot about it i can and do still appreciate, especially as it stands an allegory to queerness couched in 90s nostalgia. it’s shot beautifully, the acting is well done, but something about it ultimately falls flat for me?? vaguely underwhelming, though i really wanted to love it. the end scene was probably my favorite part.
