  If there's anyone who deserves to win an Oscar for their performance in a biopic, it's Timothée Chamalet.

  Furthermore, if you're interested in learning more about Bob Dylan's story, I highly recommend the documentary "No Direction Home" directed by Martin Scorsese, one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Or the film "I'm Not There" by Todd Haynes, in which 6 different actors portray different phases of Bob Dylan's life. Special mention goes to my beloved Heath Ledger, in one of his last performances.

  The first time I heard "Defying Gravity" was on the TV series Glee. It was then that I learned about the existence of the musical Wicked and the impact it had on Broadway and the great significance it has for artists to sing their songs. And I respect its history and its impact. But I simply could not feel any connection with this film. My enjoyment perhaps suffers because I am a big fan of what the original 1939 film…

  This is ultimately a movie about character development and growth. It's not necessarily the most original concept for a movie. We've seen movies approaching the same subject from different perspectives, from many years. A woman seeking justice and revenge for the death of her daughter is nothing new.
