Waves 2019
This piece had me on edge the whole time. Amazing camera work where the interplay between image section, camera angles and cinematogrophy, drags you into the movie with a tight grip. While It firmly holds you, all the emotions and empathy for the diffrent characters are fed to you by the incledible use of sound and scilence in just the right places, as well as the well played, realistic characters, together with all the above mentioned. Don’t even get me started on the flawless soundtrack and the beautiful A24 colours and lighting. This movie is a heartbreaker. I cried 4 times.

A partially great script with a perfect amount of ”emo” to it. Paired with the washed out cinematogarphy and the spot on casting, its over all a touching story about the concept of love that will get you in your feelings.
