August 1944 two months after D-Day, the Allies are advancing across France. A team of British and American commandos are dropped behind enemy lines on a secret mission to ambush a German Officer and steal maps charting the location of the enemy artillery along the front line.

Solid story and some good camera work. Battle scenes were all over the map from awful to outstanding. A couple of editing issues, and that always bugs me. A 50 cal machine gun was apparently just firing away, based on the actor’s grimace and body movements, as well as the sound effects … except the action was still and no casings were being ejected. Also the same nazi APC kept getting destroyed. Didn’t bother changing the tail number or the accouterments … just attention to details. Also at the end the chase sequence for the spy was plumb awful. Gripe, gripe, gripe. Overall film was entertaining and a decent watch.
