When Sam regains consciousness in the middle of a crowded subway, he doesn't know how he got there, where he came from nor his own name. He franticly searches for his identity, using the contents of his backpack. Slowly but surely he realizes his life is in great danger.

Ik moest dit op school kijken en iedereen moest lachen omdat de film heet "Boy 7" dat klinkt gwn zo kkr dom. 😭😭)
Always strange when you rewatch a film you know for sure you've seen before, only to realize that there wasn't really anything memorable about it besides the premise itself, letting you go on and gaslight yourself into thinking you have never seen this film before while once again you for sure know you have.
Not all popular Young Adult novels should be adapted for the big screen, especially when the story isn't mindblowing or brilliant in itself and you don't have anything near the budget that a Disney or Warner Bros. would pour into a production like this, although I guess that it was nice that they at least tried?

Ik was echt geobsedeerd met dit boek toen ik twaalf jaar was, de film volgt enigszins dezelfde structuur, maar sleutelelementen missen voor mij en het verhaal klopt niet helemaal. Misschien is het 12-jarige ik die dit boek echt HET toppunt van actie en spanning en plottwisten vond, maar ik had meer verwacht:((
PS. no fucking way dat Sam ook 15 is in deze film oh help kijk naar hem
PPS. Mara van Het Huis Anubis speelt in deze film, maar als je de cast opzoekt staat er bij haar naam een foto van Appie door een hele ongelukkige selectie van een foto van hen samen en ik vond dat heel grappig
