  4. a man who’s wife is possessed by his dead mother’s spirit
  5. an 18 year old in love w a mom and her daughter 
  6. a crypto hacker who gets his brain fried by aliens
  7. a 17 year old escort service pimp 

  all of this to say, bless kyle gallners range. 

  honestly this movie was the perfect palet cleanser after the heavier gallner watches. his lighter early 2000 stuff is adorable and i wish i could have watched em when they first come out. imagine how much more obsessed id be w him.

  Watched this beauty for a future Commentary Tracks of the Damned, and was surprised by its energy and confidence in the first 10 minutes, so much so that I nearly rejected doing it as a CTOTD at all. Then the plot kicked in. Try this on for size: a bunch of geeky, sexually inexperienced kids from a boarding school start a business in which smoking hot housewives twice their age pay THEM for sex, not the other way around. Yeah, no.

  And dig the insane DVD cover: Denise Richards looks like the lead (she isn't) and a dog figures prominently (it's virtually dog free). The dog was added, per the commentary, because DVDs apparently sell more copies with one on it.

  18 year old Sam (Kyle Gallner) is seemingly at last chance saloon when he ends up at at a Californian school where the principal (James Belushi) gives him a break. Hearing soon after that his mother can no longer afford to pay his school fees, Sam goes into a decline until he meets an equally down and rather wealthy Alison (Kathryn Morris) in a bar and the two have an affair. Out of sympathy for his plight she leaves him a cheque for $500 which gives Sam an idea of how to make enough to pay for his tuition - his own escort service - Cougars, Inc.

  With a name like cougars inc I expected a raunchy comedy with plenty of mommy bags.  What you get is a movie with 0 laughs and virtually no mommy bags.
