fresh, engaging and flawed. Crazxy directed by Girish Kohli delivers a unique cinematic experience and Sohum Shah proves his range with an impressive performance. His monologue during the car tire change scene is easily the film’s highlight. The film’s use of vintage tracks like Abhimanyu Chakravyu Mein Phasgaya Tu and Kallu Mama adds charm, though the rest of the album is forgettable. The background score works in some parts but feels overdone in others.
Technically, the film has some solid visuals with decent cinematography and tight editing that keeps the 1 hour 30 minute runtime engaging. The screenplay has its moments, balancing tension and humor well. A few scenes are brilliantly executed, showing the film’s potential. However, the climax is…
Yar film ki promotion bohot kum ki Sohum Shah apne!
Poori movie range rover aur samsung ne sponser ki hai
But jokes aside kya crazy movie hai, the best thing about this was how tight the screenplay was, only one character was on screen and still not an ounce of boredom .
Also integration of already existing music in movies is right up my alley so yeah Great watch
The audience was looking at Sohum Shah's new film with lots of expectations after his impressive performance in Tumbbad. Sorry to disappoint ...but crazxy turned out to be an average film for me. There are a couple of good thrilling situations like that sequence where he is guiding a surgery and changing a tyre at the same time, the buildup and the movie is a refreshing attempt to do something new..but the movie just doesn't do well as a whole. The first half completely feels dragged to fill the void. Even though it's just 1hr 30mins film. Somehow it feels like the film is much smaller, because there was not much to offer on the plate. So the makers were…
This movie is DOWNright crazy..
I underestimated this film's quality from its marketing ngl 👀 but...
Well, just the right amount of tension in its short 93 min runtime that somehow feels longer than 120 mins! Reminded me of Buried where you are stuck with your protagonist in the whole runtime and you gotta take tough and difficult decisions just like him.
Loved that whole tyre-changing sequence in its second half...total edge-of-the-seat material!
But the climax disappointed everyone. But the good thing is, the makers didn't shy away from cooking that climax and letting the whole scene breathe for a nice time. The impact of the message that they wanted to show doesn't hit the bullseye, but I loved how they experimented with it and…
Crazxy.
"A decent thriller from Bollywood in recent times"
Right from the beginning the film was both thrilling and gripping. The story revolves around a phone call, a car and Abhimanyu Sood (Sohum Shah's character).
Cinematography is commendable. Tight editing is what keeps the momentum of the story going and the run time of 1hr33mins makes it even more gripping.
I was disappointed by the way they are selling the movie in the name of a "new climax". To put it simply, the makers announced that they are gonna change the climax (after the audience's feedback) and make it effective from this friday onwards but to my surprise there were no changes. And the worst thing is most of the…

A guide to every film student’s wet dream to make a low budget thriller.
That’s definitely the most crazxy thing Sohum Shah achieved.
This is a very crazy film indeed. It's short and crip of just 90 minutes, consisting of just a car and Sohum Shah, and this car ride delt like a rollercoaster and managed to keep me on the edge of my seat. It was a Sohum Shah show throughout. As he was the only actor on the screen, it was a tough job for him & he delivered so hard. I liked the suspense buildup and the thrills it was providing. That tyre changing scene was peak cinema, it gave me so much tension and anxiety, it's paisa wasool just for this scene alone. Cinematography was a piece of art; editing, direction, and all other technical aspects were to the point.…
Fitting that my Feb began with a road movie like Vidaamuyarchi and ended with an even crazier nearly real-time road thriller like Crazxy whose second half makes Murphy's Law proud despite the passerby shot in the foreground of a t-shirt that reads "EVERYTHING WILL BE OK" haha!
***MILD SPOILER ALERT***
The way they shot that ending gave me an alternate idea of leaving it like an ambiguous fantasy, but I get why they had to do all that exposition for mainstream sensibility (sensitivity tho found dead already in the context there)... reminded me of the ending to a famous late 90s (mentioning the exact year would give it away) Hollywood film by a director X! Also, talking of that Hollywood…
