em rata i am on my hands and knees BEGGING you to work with a female director
A Good feel good movie. A different take on the 80s nostalgia and one of the best soundtracks ever. Worth the watch on Hulu.
Jersey Shore extra meets ridiculously beautiful girl. Cars are broken into. Pop music from the 80s is played. Mild racial slurs are used. Carbs are eaten. Bro-hugs are had. Predictable character arcs are played out.
To my enormous surprise, it wasn't appalling. And whisper it, but @EmRata aint that bad an actress.
I was having a bad day so I watched this. And now my day is worse.

"Baby you a song
You make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise
Hey baby
Yeah, when I first saw that bikini top on her
She’s poppin’ right out of the South Georgia water
Thought, oh, good lord, she had them long tanned legs
Couldn’t help myself so I walked up and said
Baby you a song
You make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise
Down a back road blowin’ stop signs through the middle
Every little farm town with you

This was the first movie I ever worked on / my first real job out of college! Very fun experience where I learned a lot and got my first real taste of what low budget filmmaking actually looks like from the inside.
My gut feeling 7+ years later is that I did an absolutely horrid job and had no idea what I was doing. I pranced around like an entitled dipshit, and I imagine I drove my department head up a fucking wall and made everyone nervous I was going to majorly fuck something up any second. I was a kid who had never done anything like this before, suddenly thrust into a major position on a Union production, and…

Loved the movies vibe, was interesting seeing spencer boldman I’m something different outside of his Disney career, an adorable movie with its cute lil moments between the two kids. Nice job Spence
"My summer was sucking majorly until you came along."
Writer/director Robert Siegel's long-awaited follow-up to Big Fan hums along nicely for its first hour or so, establishing its setting (Whitestone, Queens, in the summer of 1987) and painting a reasonably nuanced portrait of Gio (Spencer Boldman), an aimless Italian-American car radio thief who yearns for something different but doesn't know what that could be until he meets Jessica (Emily Ratajkowski), a Jewish college student from Great Neck, Long Island, who aspires to open an art gallery someday. Until she asks him what he wants to do with his life, it's clear he's never given the question any real thought, but thinking ahead doesn't appear to be his strong suit in…
Not worth it. Yes, I know you think Emily Ratajkowski
is super hot. Still not worth it.
Affectionate look at the youth culture of a bygone era celebrating the joys of muscle cars, Motorola pagers and endless summer nights.
just unfathomably shitty
