Outsourced content moderation is a meaty subject. In case you didn't know, a lot of moderation on social media is handled by Filipinos, so we have this workforce who spend hours browsing through photos and videos, deciding if they're appropriate to be viewed by the wider Internet. And in the course of this work, they'll naturally see things that no human should ever see. It is work that makes you a witness to the worst that humanity has to offer; the very depths of evil that people inexplicably deem worthy of recording and uploading to social media sites.
But the movie hardly gets into all that. Instead, it delivers a pretty generic horror movie that fails to take advantage of…

1. sarah paulson school of sigaw ni madam nadine
4. panibagong atake sa “found footage” horror

Despite winning numerous awards at the MMFF 2022 awards ceremony, it is a disappointing film. But, to be honest, this is the only MMFF entry worth watching (at least on my opinion). Also, I can't "ignore or delete" Nadine from my life, LOL.
I have so many thoughts about this film that I don't want to waste my time discussing them here. Go watch it by yourself. All I can say is that they squander the story's potential. It could have been better if the cliches and unnecessary scenes were “deleted”. But I must say that there are some very effective and gory scenes that had me flinching in my seat. But overall, it's all silently walking down dark alleyways,…
I never had high hopes for a Mikhail Red film despite being constantly championed as the intellectual alternative to the dreck of MMFF. Even with a subject as interesting as content moderation, he barely touches on its potential, handwaving it with the "million is a statistic" quote and merely using it as a backdrop for whatever cool twist he already planned out ahead.
I'm not going to talk about the movie anymore and instead share this story. Back in 2009, a friend turned down an offer to move to Project Honeybadger because the interview largely consisted of "Are you sure you really want to do this?" and she got the message by the fifth time they asked. Me — the…

Ignore the messy writing, delete the pretentious ending.
Stunning cinematography and Wan-esque jumpscares aside, Deleter promises to be something fresh for Filipino audiences but is, at its core, just a traditional ghost story.
Tangina ng multo hahahah nagta-type
effective jumpscare and pagbuild-up ng tension! enjoy panoorin if u want a good scare.
but sayang premise ng content moderation :// totoo nga sabi nung isang review, wala na rin akong pasensya para sa mga pelikulang ginagamit ang sexual assault as plot device. akala ko magtetake na ng turn dun sa ininterview si nadine, pwede na sana magdelve into stories ng content moderators (personal accounts and such). it will make the story much more haunting kasi this is happening irl. pero ayon, nde ganon xD
and that ending??? djfjrjkekdjdjjr para sa mga gagawa ng horror movies, it’s ok to end with a resolution 😭 what’s with the obsession na laging iend ang horror movies with an open ending na nightmare…
what eaf idelete na 'tong felikulang itu
