Glam - Roteiro de uma Obsessão, Лустро
Probably the most exhausting film I've ever seen. 90% of scenes make you feel like you are stuck talking with coked out pseudo-philosophers. The other 10% are comprised of slow gazing at women with a twinge of stock romantic music so you feel you are watching something more meaningful.
i often think of all the art film masterpieces that go by unseen. the coming of age stories that have come and gone. with some of the most crude lines i’ve ever heard and questionable material scattered like the drugs they take, glam is definitely a gem. so sad so pretty so forgotten.
For pretentious, near-formless art-nonsense starring Tony Danza in a serious role, this isn't too bad. It makes an enthusiastic attempt to be different. A profusion of motormouth weirdo characters intoning non-sequitur dialogue steadily make their way through the set. Social commentary can be found somewhere after thorough digging like a nondescript prize at the bottom of a Cracker Jack box. Some lines are funny in an off way. If you appreciate audacity in general, then you might find something to like here, but if you're not a fan of this style then you should stay very far away.
Don’t know wtf I just watched, but it’s top 5 oat.
This batshit underground art piece/acting exercise is one of the boldest pieces of nonsense bullshit ive ever seen, ripping off my god and true north, david lynch in tone and intensity. this movie aint looking for story or even pov, just a scary cokey bad nightmare vibe. Righteous that they got this many character stars in traction. This is clearly a zero star movie but As experimental art installation-5 stars. Frank is the most dickish ever.
Puh, I don´t know. What is this!? I honestly don´t know if it´s good, bad or even to be taken serious or meant as a spoof.
Kind of like the movie an edgy 17yo fan of Lynch, Helge Schneider and Ex-Drummer would love to make, where you´re smarter than anyone & nothing has meaning!? Also, lots of biblical & "sexy" stuff somehow. I really don´t know. Weird.
A somehow religious fever dream that wishes it was directed by David Lynch.
I literally have no clue what I just watched. I found this movie by complete accident when I was trying to search someone up on Letterboxd and I clicked this instead. I figured I'd watch it for the hell of it.
So many questions to ask about this movie. Random flashes, odd colouring, and "subliminal" messages don't seem to answer any. This movie is a confusing one and a half hour (and more, due to ads) of me staring at the screen failing to convince myself I understand it and also holding my hand in front of my eyes whenever it did the strobe light flash.
The…
I can’t help that I really enjoyed this movie.
