  Super not into it. From the era of endless terrible romcoms. Jennifer Tilly is one of those actresses that I generally enjoy even if the movie isn't good but this was hard to watch. GOOSED hasn't made her less cute but the character is irritating and man-obsessed. The cast is great but no good is done with them. Not hard to see why this has been all but forgotten.

  Started November the way I used to do it (no rewatch november, gave that up, never achieved it, I love a rewatch.)

  But I did manage 3 this morning, having gotten up at 6am, all staring Jennifer Tilly

  After catching up on season 3 of Chucky, and how fucking amazing she is in it (that Liar Liar line my god) I needed another fix.

  This was the most 90s. That Steve Steven dude. Danielle Harris. A Wayans brother. Joan Rivers. Yeah sure.

  TILLY QUEST 2021 FILM 17/21

  “These aren’t titties, they’re hand grenades! And I’m gonna throw em right at you!!”

  WOW this blew my expectations away SUPER hard!!! A very fun and cute little sex romcom with Tilly leading the show! I really thought this was gonna be average or boring, but seriously it’s super good 90s indie movie shit!! Fun soundtrack, weirdly fantastic script, just feels like such a tight and cozy experience from front to back!

  It has some pacing issues, and just a couple weird scenes, but other than that, THIS RULES!! I’M SO HAPPY!! I thought this was gonna be trash just from how low effort the cover is and how unknown this movie is. Only 84…

  this is absolutely ridiculous but so campy... like the definition of camp. the acting is so much and it all somehow works. i watched for the cast and got a masterclass in camp.

  What a fascinating, awful movie. The writing is terrible, and Jennifer Tilly plays the most inconsistent character ever put to screen... but it’s still Jennifer Tilly (in several wigs!) and my sucker love for her got me to watch this.

  Danielle Harris plays young Tilly and Joan Rivers is her mom, and I do think the casting is the only thing that kept me to the end. (Thomas Hayden Church basically plays a fourth wall breaking porn caricature; good for him!) I ended up enjoying how completely weird and wrong this was, but it’s not something I can ever recommend. The plot is nothing, the jokes are 8th generation dubbed VHS copies of the most stale Catskills routine, and it’s just hateful to everyone.
