  Somewhat forgotten Hicksploitation cheapie that has the feel of something David A. Prior or Teddy Page would have made. A girl travels from L.A. to Vegas to work as a showgirl but along the way runs into car trouble and gets raped by a quartet of Nevada desert hicks (which includes Chuck Mitchell, best known as Porky from the Porky's franchise). To her rescue comes a muscle bound desert hermit who has Vietnam flashbacks and some kind of bird that always sits on his shoulder. Lots of funny moments, including our hero who hides in a portable shrub, sneaking around unnoticed with just the bird sticking out the top.   Picked up this VHS solely because Cameron Mitchell’s name was in the credits. He’s in the opening scene for less than a minute, then never appears again. Outside of that, it starts boring, then becomes sleazy and gross, and finally becomes some kind of DEADLY PREY-adjacent brand of revenge film, and while some of the comeuppances for the backwoods rapist villains are entertaining, it isn’t enough to mitigate the ick factor, especially when the middle section is treated relatively seriously while the tone of the revenge sequences with explosions and de-limbing make it feel like the weapons should have ACME written across them.

  Dull and forgotten direct-to-video rape and revenge exploitation garbage. But there are still couple of gore moments and some ridicules scenes that save this from being complete piece of shit.

  Demented action/rape/revenge/'Nam vet/showgirl trash with an impotent Chuck PORKY'S Mitchell and a hungover Aldo Ray. Great gore and Cameron Mitchell literally phones in his part. Recommended.
