The most arrogant self-entitled protagonist I've ever seen goes to Brazil to ask Pelé to teach him soccer because, well, soccer is his "life" so he deserves it. Pelé says "well I'm sorry", and the movie should have ended right there.

So, so, so, so dreadful but also somehow good but actually awful but maybe good?
As a child, I was obsessed with this movie and every Karate Kid rip-off of the time. I guess I just dug watching skinny white dudes learn life skills from ethnic, retired experts. Let's not read into that.
I can't say this movie holds up, but it means well and I love soccer, so *shrug*.
